SKA 2010           22nd-25th March at University of Manchester

UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR INDUSTRY TO MEET SKA TEAMS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

Full Conference details: Conference Programme

The Electronics KTN is looking to sponsor upto 5 delegates to attend the SKA 2010 conference to act as "rapporteurs" on the technical developments being undertaken.

These reports will be used to provide an anlysis of opprotunities for the UK electronics sector from the investment in SKA.
The key technology areas to be reported are signal reception (antenna and phased array), signal processing, data transmission, data analysis and power utilisation.
We will cover the conference fees, hotel and travel for period of the conference.  For full details contact me on: nigel.rix@electroncis-ktn.com
This conference may well represent the tipping point between academic research and engineering design - so now is a critical time to understand the opprotunities available.

SBRI - Small Business Research Initiative
SMEs and early stage businesses take note!

SBRI offers the potential to provide vital contract funding for the critical stage of product development.

The SBRI programme aims to use government procurement to drive innovation. It provides business opportunities for innovative companies whilst solving the needs of government departments.

Competitions for new technologies and ideas are run in specific areas and aim to engage a broad range of companies in short-term development contracts.

SBRI enables government departments and public sector organisations to procure new technologies faster and with managed risk through a phased development programme, and it provides paid contracts for the critical stage of product development.
