Event Summary:
The European Signal and Image Processing Conference (EUSIPCO) is an annual event, drawing together academics and industrialists from all over Europe and beyond.
Event Description:
Meet with Europes leading Academics and Industrials for Signal Processing.
Sensing and detecting "real world" information, digitising, processing to drive outputs, both actuated and displayed, lies at the heart of many of todays innovative applications.
Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is one of the keys to unlock the potential of most systems, and is often the enabler for a new application or a breakthrough device.
Eusipco 2009 brings together over 500 of Europes leading academics and industrialists for DSP...meet them!
Presenting papers and delivering seminars for the latest developments that impact many application areas including:
Bio-Medical Image & Signal Processing...Multiview & 3D Image Processing...Video & Multimedia applications
Radar & Sonar, Detection & tracking...Cellular Wireless System Design...Audio & Music Signal Processing
Cognitive Radio & Spectrum sharing...Speech Analysis & Recognition...Networks & Relay Communications
This is your opportunity to meet these experts, in a one-to-one brokerage environment, and really ask them how their technology can impact your business or market.
How does Academia 2 Business (A2B) and Business 2 Business (B2B) work and what do you have to do to participate?
Register and create your profiles for this brokerage event. This will be your organisations advert, identifying what your capabilities are, and what you are lookng for.
The brokerage sessions run each day from 1pm to 5:30pm on the Wednesday to Friday of the conference. You will be able to start scheduling meetings from 17th August.
About EUSIPCO 2009
The 2009 European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO-2009) is the 17th in a series of conferences organised by the European Association for Signal, Speech, and Image Processing (EURASIP, www.eurasip.org). The conference is organised by the University of Strathclyde and will be held in the stunning Royal Concert Hall in the heart of the city of Glasgow, Scotland, from Tuesday 25th – Friday 28th August.
EUSIPCO-2009 will focus on key aspects of signal processing theory, architectures, and applications. More than 800 papers were submitted in February 2009, and in May 2009 after extensive reviewing, 550 papers were accepted for publication and presentation at EUSIPCO 2009. In addition to the rich programme of oral and poster presentation sessions, the conference will further include a series of keynote and plenary talks by industry and academic experts, encompassing topics in signal, image and audio processing, and looking forward to the technical challenges of the future.
On Monday 24th, preceding the main technical programme, the University of Strathclyde will host six half-day tutorials and two industrial demonstration sessions, all of which are free to attend for conference registrants. Tutorial topics include image and video processing, signal processing statistics, and biometric signal processing, while the industrial sessions will demonstrate the latest design tools for DSP simulation and implementation.
The conference will also provide valuable social and networking opportunities. An exhibition space will be populated by industrial and other sponsors, and a brokerage event will facilitate new introductions between potential collaborators. The event also features a grand reception at the Glasgow City Chambers (town hall; Tuesday 25th), and a banquet at the UK's most popular museum, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, which will be reserved exclusively for EUSIPCO on the evening of Thursday 27th.
