Our goal is to support the electronic design community across the UK, driving innovation to maintain our excellence for innovative electronic design.

If you're an organisation or a company that supports the design community, or its value chain, then this network is for you!

Whether you're involved at the technology, component, circuit, software, system or product level, we're inviting you to join our network. If you think you have knowledge to contribute to the network, then review our Criteria Guide. This guide is an indicator as to whether your idea or project will add value to the community across the electronics sector (don't worry, you don't have to "check" all of the boxes to get your content commissioned - let us know if you have content to share) .

For small to medium sized companies, we can act as your surrogate "corporation", providing you with a wealth of knowledge to solve today's problem, or to find out what new techniques or technologies you'll need to employ to keep ahead of the competition.

We'll help you find routes to market, collaborative partners, signposts to funding or access to new markets, so make sure your companys capabilities are profiled on our Capability Directory.

We'll help you to find out what's happening in the world of science and academia and how they can help you........Register now! (it's free and only takes a minute)

A key ingredient to realising any successful and vibrant innovation culture is the sharing of knowledge, collaborative working and networking with peers, suppliers, customers and competitors.

Knowledge Transfer Networks are initiatives supported by the Technology Strategy Board designed to promote specific market sectors or technologies.

The Electronics KTN is pulling together the network of the UK's capabilities across the electronics value chain, from research through to design and product development, and including sales and operations creating a community rich with potential collaborative partners.

The work of the KTN can be broadly divided into three main activities:

  • The Capability Directory - a fully searchable listing of UK electronics companies to promote knowledge transfer and networking.

  • Regional KTN activities - delivered by organisations aligned with the Regional Development Authorities or Devolved Authorities.

  • National Program - a set of national themes and conferences covering emerging technologies, areas of excellence and good business practice relating to the electronics industry.

We are a not for profit company limited by guarantee, acting independently for the benefit of the electronics sector - we're delivering services to give your company a competitive advantage, please join us and participate in the development of the UK's electronics sector!
